We have shortlisted the list of billionaires who have a Forbes Self-made score of 9 and 10. The billionaires with a Self-made score of 9 are the people who came from a largely working-class background or rose from little to nothing. Whereas, the billionaires with a Self-made score of 10 are those who not only grew up poor but also overcame significant obstacles. For the billionaires outside of the US whose self-made score wasn’t mentioned, we shortlisted them based on the same criteria as the self-made scores of 9 and 10.
