Apply for UCL Global Masters Scholarships for International Students

Brief description: 

The UCL Global Masters Scholarship aims to enable and encourage international students from lower-income backgrounds to pursue full-time Master’s degree studies at UCL.

Host Institution(s): University College London, UK

Level/Field of study: All postgraduate Taught Masters Degree Programme in any subject offered at the University. Distance learning programmes are not eligible for this scholarship.

Number of Awards:  Up to 85 scholarships are available in 2024/25 with five aimed specifically at students from India.

Target group: International students from low-income background

Scholarship value/duration: The scholarship is worth £15,000 and is tenable for one year only unless the full-time programme is 2 years in length.  In that case, the scholarship will be paid 50% in each year.

Eligibility: Candidates can be from any country outside the UK but must fulfil all of the following criteria:

• • be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate;
• • come from a lower income background*;
• • AND have submitted an admission application for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL in 2024/25.

You need to have submitted an admission application to UCL (including the submission of references) to apply for the scholarship. Applications must be submitted through an online application form before 5 pm BST, Tuesday 7 May  2024.
