About the Role

In this role, you will provide valuable insights into the financial management of categories/brands, ensuring they meet their topline and profitability targets. You’ll establish strong business partnerships with Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial teams, and other functions contributing to the category’s current and future performance.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the marketing and commercial teams to develop medium to long-term financial and strategic plans.
Serve as the operational finance liaison with Brand partners.
Offer financial evaluation and scenario analysis for new market opportunities, innovation, and new business partnerships.

Handle the financial aspects of the marketing investment budget calculation, tracking, and reporting, while working in conjunction with the commercial team and brand partners.
Support the annual business planning, rolling forecast, and Latest Estimates calculations for Product Categories.

Identify growth areas, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and effectively communicate findings to all stakeholders.
Assess the financial performance of Category and brand profitability by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Provide Brand Profit and Loss statements, share investment data, facilitate data exchange, and reconcile profit-sharing with partners.

Engage with various stakeholders across different functions and levels.

Proficiency in IT tools, including advanced modeling skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and expertise in business modeling (SAP/BW knowledge is a plus).

Education & Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent as a minimum.
A Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA) is desirable.

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in an FMCG Multinational Organization.
A strong understanding of commerce, product costing, and sourcing.

Operational experience in analyzing actual performance and benchmarks.
Excellent knowledge of New Product Development (NPD) Processes.
Proficiency in advanced financial modelling skills in Excel.

As a member of the global StudioX network, your role involves shaping the future agenda for StudioX, and enhancing it with emerging capabilities and technologies. You will oversee StudioX management to align with our marketing goals and the broader vision of streamlining, standardizing, and digitizing work processes within StudioX, ultimately delivering exceptional value and effectiveness in marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage OU StudioX activities, integrating multiple capabilities and overseeing ways of working (including tools) to execute the Studio X agenda.
Assess and monitor StudioX performance.

Define and operationalize StudioX capacity based on aligned work volume and OU calendar prioritization for key marketing programs, working closely with stakeholders, especially the OU IMX lead and Marketing Operations & Capabilities team.

Support the Agency Operations Lead by ensuring all StudioX projects are submitted to Workfront.
Collaborate with Marketing Ops and Capabilities on internal engagement and communication strategies.

Coordinate with Marketing Platform Services at the OU level on key services/SLAs and troubleshooting.
Set and communicate performance expectations with WPP and serve as an escalation point for issue resolution.
