Category-Based Targeted Express Entry Draw July 5, 2024


On July 5, 2024, the IRCC conducted the third Category-Based Express Entry Draw, explicitly targeting healthcare professionals. A total of 3,750 candidates were invited to apply. The minimum CRS score required was 445. Canada has invited 12,850 individuals under this category since July 2023.

This was the second category-based draw of the week. It followed a draw on July 4, which was a category-based selection draw for 1,800 candidates in trade occupations.

Earlier in the week, on July 2, IRCC held a draw that considered only candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The 920 invited candidates required a minimum CRS score of 739.

Targeted Express Entry Draw for 35 Eligibile Healthcare Occupations

Canada’s Targeted Express Entry Occupation List includes 35 healthcare professions. The country is actively seeking skilled individuals, such as dentists, registered nurses, psychologists, and physiotherapists, to address the pressing shortage of healthcare workers.
