MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition 2023 for Young Nigerians

MTN Nigeria invites all Primary and secondary school students between 9 – 15 years old to participate in the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition.

The Objective of the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee

• The principal goal of this competition is to enhance the English spelling and vocabulary skills of Nigerian students. It offers a dynamic platform for participants to hone their linguistic skills while competing for noteworthy prizes.

Who Can Participate?

• This educational challenge is strictly available for students enrolled in primary or secondary schools within Nigeria. All participants must fall within the age range of 9 to 15 years and have their phone numbers subscribed to the mPulse tariff plan to be eligible.

Stages of the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition

The competition is meticulously structured into three distinct phases:

1. Preliminary Round: The first stage will be hosted on the MTN mPulse website. Here, the top 1,000 students will be shortlisted for the next phase.
2. Semi-Final Round: Also carried out on the mPulse website, this round will determine the 20 highest-scoring students who will progress to the final stage.
3. Grand Finale: This is the culminating point of the competition, where finalists will be invited to a physical event to determine the ultimate winners.

Lavish Prizes To Be Won

For the Students

• First Prize: Winner’s trophy, N2.5 million scholarship grant, a laptop, a smartphone, and an mPulse goody bag.
• Second Prize: N1.5 million scholarship grant, a smartphone, and an mPulse goody bag.
• Third Prize: N1 million scholarship grant, a smartphone, and an mPulse goody bag.
• Fourth to Tenth Place: N200,000 scholarship grant and an mPulse goody bag.
• Eleventh to Twentieth Place: N100,000 scholarship grant and an mPulse goody bag.

For the Teachers

• Cash prizes range from N50,000 to N350,000.

For the Schools

• The winning school will receive 10 MTN Hynetflex Modems and 10 laptops.
