I received my E2, however the process was not for the faint of heart. I had Rebecca as my attorney and through out the year communication was a struggle. At the end it was a lot better. CPOM (Corporate Practice of Medicine), for the… uninitiated, is a doctrine that establishes stringent rules and structural guardrails on businesses and business owners of medical and related practices. Not all states in the US have these requirements. Ashoori team and Shruti Bali, in particular, was excellent and, more so, patient in dealing with us and our concerns, fears and expectations. Quite a few times, we found ourselves in a panic with our situation – we had made the requisite financial and personal commitments (for instance, sold our holdings in Canada, paid the substantial franchise fees).
