Nigeria Immigration introduces complete automated passport application system

Automated passport application system: The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Friday introduced the complete automated passport application system. The NIS statement regarding the online application and document upload said one can apply from anywhere using its user-friendly portal and upload breeder documents and passport photos effortlessly. For passport application options, the NIS said fresh, renewal or change of data can be done all in one place while there is minimized human interface through its streamlined and efficient process.

It added that there is a reduced timeline as applicants can now get their passports in record time with automation. There is also an improved passport acquisition courtesy of a modern and enhanced experience while the NIS uses technology to harness innovation for security.
