The recent draw for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) under the Express Entry-linked French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, conducted on June 20, 2024, saw the issuance of 212 Notifications of Interest (NOIs).
The candidates who received these NOIs had Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging between 305 and 409.
This draw considered profiles that had been created in the IRCC’s Express Entry system between June 20, 2023, and June 20, 2024. The draw was classified as a general draw, indicating that it was not targeted towards any specific occupation or skill set within the French-speaking skilled worker category.
To qualify, candidates needed work experience in TEER Category 0, 1, 2 or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
Candidates must have a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark 7 in French and 6 in English to qualify for the FSSW program.
This reflects Ontario’s ongoing commitment to attracting French-speaking skilled workers to meet the province’s labour market needs and support the vitality of its Francophone communities.
To qualify for the Ontario Express Entry: French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, applicants must meet several requirements. Firstly, they must have a pending application under the Federal Express Entry system.
