Targeted Express Entry Draw for Transport Occupations

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently conducted its inaugural Express Entry draw for the transport sector, inviting 670 candidates to apply for permanent residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) was 435.

In December, the Canadian government invited a total of 3,325 candidates to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The invitations were issued through three different draws. The first draw on December 18 was open to candidates from all programs, and 1,325 candidates with a minimum score of 542 were invited to apply.

The second draw on December 19 was focused on trades occupations, and 1,000 candidates with a minimum score of 425 were invited to apply. If you’re interested in applying for permanent residency in Canada, keep an eye on these draws to see if you’re eligible to apply.
