Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited is one of the biggest manufacturing companies in Nigeria. It makes and sells drinks like Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Teem, Mountain Dew, H2oH!, Lipton Ice Tea, and Aquafina premium drinking water, which are some of the most popular drinks in the country. SBC recently launched its first product, a hand and surface sanitiser under the 2SURE brand, which is in the Home & Personal Care category. Seven Up is proud of its nine state-of-the-art bottling plants, which are strategically placed in different parts of the country.
1). Electrical/Automation Engineer
Location: Kano

Position Summary
- In charge of the design of instruments and electronic equipment for projects, as well as the implementation of related projects to make sure they are finished on time.
In charge of providing the plants with the troubleshooting, maintenance, and spare parts they need to keep running and improve their performance.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure that all of the software and backups for all of the equipment in the plant are written and kept up to date.
- Maintains all of the company’s electronic equipment, such as electronic bottle inspectors, fill height detectors, COBRIX, and PLCs, and makes sure that all electronic instruments, like transducers, are calibrated.
- Lead regular checks of the PET line’s automation and electrical parts, and make sure that line maintenance is done by the team as per the maintenance plan.
- Make a list of the most important electronic spare parts that will be on hand to keep the production lines/utility from stopping. Plans are made to make sure that the needed spare
- parts are ordered and bought on time, and parts inventories are kept as low as possible.
- Tell management about any important steps that need to be taken to get the equipment back to 100% reliability.
- Develops the maintenance programme for all instrumentation and electronics and makes sure it is followed.
- Plan and make sure that the annual maintenance and cleaning of all electronic parts goes off without a hitch.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with Production, Quality Assurance, Production Planning, and any government agencies that have to do with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with FMCG operation and maintenance.
- At least three years of management experience in a company that bottles drinks.
- Budgeting and managing people are skills they already have.
- Planning, making, quality, the environment, engineering, health and safety are all things you need to know about bottling operations.
- Know-how or experience with operational planning
- Must-Have CMRP Certification or similar certification in engineering will be a plus.
- Experience in running manufacturing plants, and planning and carrying out projects.
- Installing or extending new equipment or lines from the past could be a plus.
- Know how to prepare a business case/cost-benefit analysis and use basic tools for financial analysis.
- Budgeting and cost management skills that have been tried and tested.
- Good knowledge and experience of the current methods for making WC.
- Good knowledge of how HQSE works and what the rules are.
- Know the GMP and GHK (5S) standards well.
- Good skills in talking to people, persuading them, and building relationships.

2). Warehouse Operations Specialist – Raw Materials
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Position Summary
- To ensure proper inventory storage, distribution, recordkeeping, and accountability.
- To maintain proper and optimal warehouse layouts, as well as ensure proper stock storage, issuing, documentation, and accountability in support of production runs that run smoothly.
A list of responsibilities
- Supervise the receiving, unloading, and storage of raw materials in stores from Vendors, Central Stores, and other regions.
- Supervise the distribution of all raw materials to production in accordance with FIFO, as well as the distribution of other stock items to users.
- Supervise the posting of all stock SRV for raw materials and other inventory out of Navision.
- Supervise the daily inventory of all raw materials, prepare the daily and weekly raw materials report, and make it available to everyone.
- Prepare a daily report for local management and HO on the ageing of raw materials.
- Monitor the reorder level for all used raw materials.
- Supervise the daily, weekly, and periodic stock counts for all other inventory items in order to ensure proper accountability.
- Supervise and uphold GMP/GSP in Raw Materials and other storage areas.
- Supervise the entry of TRV into Navision and the departure of SRV from Navision.
- Monitor and supervise the distribution of all production spares from the production store to end users.
- Supervise daily, weekly, and periodic inventory counts in the Raw Material storage facilities.
- Attend to all audit requests and issues, both internal and external.

Qualifications and Competencies
- Minimum of a First Degree (HND / B.SC), preferably in the Social Sciences or Analysis.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Relevant professional certifications are an asset.
- Management of Stakeholders: Capability to interact with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, processes, policies, and systems, as well as a working understanding of these topics.
- Inventory reconciliation and the capacity to organise warehouse expenditures.
- Ability to quickly access, utilise, interpret, and communicate mathematical information and concepts.
- A demonstrated capacity to work, coordinate, direct, and supervise others.
- Work under pressure and for long hours on your feet.
